For the person wearing it
Nothing about her day has to change.
No pendant to remember, no button to find, nothing that tells the world she needs looking after. It sits under her clothes and asks nothing of her.

The discreet safety patch for people who live alone
A small Patch, worn under clothing. If it senses a fall or a long stillness, there's a moment to cancel — and if nobody does, Veltix calls the family you chose, one at a time, and texts them a location.

One ordinary day
No sirens, no call center. A small patch, a phone, and the people she already trusts.
Skip the story01 · Everyday life
She lives alone because she wants to. Nothing about that should have to change.

02 · Wear
The Veltix Patch is worn on the body, under everyday clothes. No pendant, no wristband, nothing on show — and nothing to operate.

03 · Life goes on
Coffee, errands, the garden, a call with her daughter. The Patch quietly reads movement on its own. It asks nothing of her.

04 · That evening
A movement that looks like a fall. Or a stillness that lasts far longer than usual.

05 · Detection
No button to find, no call to make. The Patch recognizes the pattern on its own.

06 · Patch to app
The Patch sends the event over Bluetooth to the Veltix app on her phone.

07 · Before the calls
A countdown starts on her phone — 60 seconds by default. If it was nothing, one tap on “I'm OK” and it ends there. Nobody is disturbed.

08 · One call at a time
The countdown ends and nobody has cancelled. Veltix calls Luca, first on her list — and at the same moment, Luca and Anna get a text with her location.

09 · Down the list
Luca doesn't pick up, so Veltix calls Anna — while Marco gets the text. If Anna can't answer either, it calls Marco, and keeps going down her list until someone does.

10 · Answered
Anna answers and confirms she's responding. Veltix doesn't call 911: the people she trusts decide what happens next.

11 · Afterwards
Most days, you won't notice Veltix at all. That's the point.

An illustrative scenario. Luca, Anna and Marco are the demo contacts in the Veltix app, and the phone screens are real app screens.
Optional Family Activity View
Inside the same Veltix app, a relative can choose Family Activity View. With a code from the wearer, they see an everyday activity overview — and get a notification in the app if something needs attention.

1 · Relative's phone
…and chooses “Stay Connected with a Relative” instead of “I wear the patch”.

2 · Wearer's phone
On the wearer's phone, Family Activity View gives a one-time, 8-character code to read out.
8-character code · works once · 30 min

3 · Relative's phone
The code works once and expires after 30 minutes.

4 · Relative's phone
Movement over recent checks, the longest still stretch, the last report — with the app's own note that it's a movement measure, not a medical reading.
Only someone the wearer gives a pairing code to can connect. The 8-character code works once and expires after 30 minutes.
A relative's phone can't control the Patch or cancel an alert. Only the wearer can.
It shows movement: how often recent checks found her moving, the longest still stretch, when the Patch last reported. It isn't a medical reading.
Alerts work the same with or without it. It's a role in the same Veltix app, not a separate product.
Real Veltix app screens. The role and pairing screens are shown cropped.
The Veltix Patch
A compact, skin-toned wearable with soft edges, nothing to press and no screen. It's worn on the body, under everyday clothes, and senses fall-like movement and long stillness on its own.
Why Veltix
For the person wearing it
No pendant to remember, no button to find, nothing that tells the world she needs looking after. It sits under her clothes and asks nothing of her.
For the family
You can't call every few hours, and she wouldn't want you to. Veltix stays quiet until something looks wrong — then it reaches you, with her location.
Detection is automatic. Nobody has to press anything.
Fall and inactivity detection are part of every planned plan — not an add-on.
Alerts go to the people she chose, one at a time, not to a call center.
Her location travels with an alert. There's no live map of her day.
Clear about what it is
Veltix earns its place by being plain about its limits.
Not a medical device. Veltix doesn't measure vital signs, diagnose anything, or replace professional care.
It doesn't call 911. Veltix alerts the contacts you choose. They decide what happens next — including calling 911.
It doesn't prevent falls. It shortens the time before someone knows.
It needs the basics. A charged Patch and a connection: her phone nearby with mobile coverage, or the optional Home Hub on home Wi-Fi.
Up to five contacts, in your order — family, a neighbor, a caregiver. Nobody else is contacted.
Veltix is being built to be GDPR-compliant by design, with data processed on EU infrastructure and encrypted in transit and at rest.
A founding team that designs its own hardware and software.

Questions
Veltix is a consumer safety technology product combining a discreet wearable Patch, smartphone connectivity and family alerts to help people maintain independence while giving their families greater peace of mind.
The Patch reads movement continuously and recognizes patterns that look like a fall, or like someone has been still far longer than usual. When it does, a countdown starts on the paired phone — the wearer's chance to cancel before anyone is contacted.
The people the wearer chose, in her order — up to five. Veltix calls one person at a time. Texts with her location go one step ahead: while the first person is called, the first two get the text. If there's no answer, the second person is called while the third gets the text — and so on, until someone answers and confirms.
Nothing happens until the countdown ends. One tap on “I'm OK” and it stops there — no calls, no texts.
No. Veltix calls and texts the people the wearer chose, with a location, so they can decide what to do — including calling 911. It never contacts emergency services on its own.
No. Location is attached to an alert when one is sent. The optional Family Activity View shows activity — not a map.
Yes. Veltix is designed to work with both iOS and Android.
Small and discreet — made to disappear under everyday clothes. It's designed to be worn on the body, with no pendant and no wristband. Exact dimensions and wearing guidance will come with the first release.
Her phone passes the Patch's alerts on, so it works best close by. For the times it isn't — in another room, in a larger or multi-floor home, out in the garden, or switched off — the optional Home Hub stays at home and passes alerts on over Wi-Fi instead. It's optional: Veltix works without it. About the Home Hub
An optional role in the same Veltix app. A relative connects with a one-time code from the wearer and sees an everyday activity overview. It can't control the Patch or cancel an alert, and it isn't a medical reading.
No. The Patch is being designed for a multi-day battery. The app shows the battery level and can notify you when it runs low.
